As a Senior Deal Operations Analyst, you’ll be a subject matter expert on deal bookings processes, best practices, and sales systems. Your work plays a critical role in optimizing revenue team member performance from quote to order. You’ll build strong relationships across the revenue team, partnering with them closely to understand their opportunities while driving adoption of best practices and policies.
In collaboration with our Enablement and Communications teams, you’ll reinforce messaging and provide coaching on the systems and processes that impact the end-to-end deal lifecycle. As a senior member of the team, you’ll demonstrate sound judgment and decision making as it relates to our policies and procedures, and have the autonomy to manage critical escalations while knowing when to loop in additional stakeholders. An ideal candidate will be process and detail-oriented, curious, analytical, creative, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on progressing deals from Quote to Order.
Note: While this is a remote role, we're hiring outside of the NYC and SF Bay Areas.
In this role, you’ll:
Partner with sales representatives to understand deal context and assist with quote to order process, including quote edits and approvals, order booking preparation, submission, and issue resolution
Oversee Deal Operations’ escalation process, providing expert guidance to other Deal Operations team members on complex quotes and orders to minimize friction
Provide comprehensive operational support for Chainalysis’ Salesforce instance and related third party application integrations
Offer Salesforce subject matter expertise and guidance to Revenue and Revenue Operations teams
Communicate and collaborate across key stakeholders, including Revenue, Customer Success, Services, Legal, and Finance in support of an efficient and accurate deal process
Proactively improve processes, tools, and automation to increase the effectiveness of deal/order processes and drive appropriate urgency on deals
Maintain a clearly documented record of requests and contribute to Deal Operations’ playbook to create consistent and repeatable global processes
We’re looking for candidates who have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience
A background in SaaS sales operations, sales support, and/or deal support with proficiency in quoting processes
Experience analyzing complex contracts, identifying issues during the contract/order review process, and developing effective solutions
Made process improvements and led projects to implement best practices within a deal operations group
Provided mentorship, guidance, and coaching to junior staff
Built strong, cross-functional working relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to clearly and concisely present complex information to internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency with Salesforce and GSuite
Nice to have experience:
MBA or CPA
SOX public company controls proficiency
Knowledge of accounting systems (Netsuite)
ASC 606 revenue recognition
US Public Sector technology sales experience
