We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our ever-growing Finance team.
We want this person to be responsible for financial reporting, bookkeeping, payroll preparation, cash flow monitoring, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, experience with financial software like Xero and Dext, and excellent analytical skills.

Day in the life
Financial Reporting and Management: Regularly compile balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in preparing the annual budget and monitor discrepancies. Help prepare comprehensive board packs for meetings.
Bookkeeping and Accounting: Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconcile financial records in Xero, and handle expense management.
Payroll and Compliance: Assist in drafting payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages and deductions, and maintain compliance with statutory laws and regulations.
Cash Flow and Cost Management: Track and analyze cash flow for financial planning and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Technology and Systems: Manage financial systems for data security and backup. Monitor the use of Dext to enhance financial operations.
Training and Development: Stay updated on financial management practices through workshops and seminars.
External Relations: Act as the first point of contact for external parties such as vendors and sales partners.
What you bring to the team
The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, budgeting, bookkeeping, and payroll management. They should be detail-oriented, proficient in accounting software, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience with financial reporting and management.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and Dext.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience in a startup environment.
