About the role
We’re looking for an experienced copywriter and brand storyteller who can generate fresh, clear copy that speaks to parents of young children. As our brand copywriter, you will help craft the development of Huckleberry’s brand voice, and create fully integrated ideas across channels. The ideal candidate has a passion for doing world-class work and is a talented copywriter that thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, with an intrinsic desire to help families around the world.
This is a fully remote, 20+ hours per week (flexible hours), 12-month contract opportunity.
\n- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop creative concepts and messaging strategies that resonate with our target audience
- Write engaging and persuasive copy for various channels, including web, email campaigns, social media posts, advertisements, and more
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and brand messaging across all communication channels
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Work closely with the design team to bring copy concepts to life through visually compelling content
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines
- 7+ years of brand copywriting experience
- Proven track record creating copy for integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g. website, email, in-app messaging, social etc)
- Impeccable attention to detail, excellent grammar and copy-writing skills
- Experience flexing writing style to match a brand voice and tone
- Able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Able to change customer perceptions and behavior with compelling concepts and copywriting
- Think and act both strategically and tactically
- Understands the psyche of parents of young children, and can speak to them without coming across as overly salesy, sappy, scare-mongering, or too cutesy
- Experience at an advertising agency or in-house creative department
- Hourly Rate: $40 - $60 per hour dependent on experience
