Job Overview:
We are currently seeking highly skilled video editors to join our team. As a video editor, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and compelling content for our ads, which sit across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and YouTube. This is a full-time remote position - we are looking for candidates with exceptional technical proficiency in Premiere Pro and similar software.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with our creative team to bring their ad ideas to life through video editing.
- Follow specific briefs and adhere to a detailed process for editing and adding elements to videos.
- Clip and assemble raw video footage to match scripts and create cohesive narratives.
- Add overlays, text graphics, brand imagery, and music to enhance the overall impact of the videos.
- Perform archival tasks, including organizing and tagging files for efficient retrieval.
- Ensure high-quality editing and deliver the final videos within specified timelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of video editing processes and techniques.
- Edit and assemble video footage, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and visual coherence.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and deliver videos that align with the brand's vision.
- Implement visual effects, motion graphics, and other elements to enhance the overall quality of the videos.
- Review and select the best takes, angles, and shots for the final edits.
- Ensure audio and video synchronization, adjust color grading, and optimize video output for different platforms.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new editing techniques to continuously improve video quality and storytelling, presenting an example ad and editing technique to the rest of the editing and strategy team.
- Proven experience in video editing for social media and performance advertising, as evidenced by a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Non-essential, but familiarity with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) and audio editing tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in project requirements and provide creative solutions.
- A keen eye for detail, precision, and a strong sense of aesthetics.
