Luna is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in Chicago with a firm grasp of GAAP principles and a proven track record in leadership to join our dynamic, fast-growing healthcare organization. You'll spearhead process improvements, oversee the accounting team, and ensure robust financial controls. Your expertise will drive our scaling initiatives, including system reviews and cross-functional efficiency projects. \n- Lead accounting team and oversee payroll functions
- Conduct multi-entity monthly close process and consolidate financial results
- Establish new ledger and cash accounts for expansion
- Perform monthly Revenue recognition estimate analysis in compliance with GAAP
- Manage cash flow and treasury functions
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions
- Coordinate with Revenue Cycle team for partner billings and reporting
- Review and record investor funding and debt management
- Oversee therapist bonus processing
- Review and approve general ledger entries
- Supervise corporate credit card program and expenses
- Manage Accounts Payable processing
- Oversee 1099 NEC processing for vendors and therapists
- Maintain/update Accounting policies and establish internal controls
- Coordinate insurance renewals with broker
- Lead annual financial audit and tax filing
- Collaborate on cross-functional efficiency projects.

- 5+ years’ general accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Health Care accounting experience
- CPA/MBA is preferred
- Multi-entity consolidation experience is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- NetSuite system experience a plus
- Must be based in Chicago or Illinois
