Job Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Visualization:
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Analyze complex data sets using SQL to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Database Development & Maintenance:
- Transition database solutions from Access-based environments to SQL-based data marts.
- Design, develop, and maintain databases for reporting and analytical needs.
- Continuously improve databases to adapt to evolving business needs.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Manage ad-hoc inquiries and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and reports comprehensively.
- Distribute canned and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders efficiently.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide training on Power BI and data analysis best practices.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify process improvements in data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends in data analytics and business intelligence.
Job Skills/Requirements
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in business analysis or related roles with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and SQL is essential; familiarity with other BI tools is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and data warehousing concepts.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range
- Hourly Pay: $25-$35/hour
- Annual Salary: $50,000-$70,000/year
