Our client, a US based company, is seeking a Cycling Expert Virtual Assistant to join their team. As a Cycling Expert Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for providing specialized knowledge and support related to cycling products, events, and industry trends. This role offers great flexibility, allowing you to work remotely and contribute to the company's success from anywhere.
Responsibilities:
Product Listing: Create detailed and engaging product listings for high-end used cycling components, including accurate titles, descriptions, specifications, and compatibilities. Reference existing catalogue of listings to create new listings. Our inventory consists of used products with varying conditions and specifications.
Condition Assessment: Analyze product photos to accurately identify and describe the condition of each item, ensuring transparency with customers.
Mechanical Understanding: Leverage strong knowledge of cycling component mechanics to describe uses and compatibilities. Ex: Electronic vs. mechanical groupset compatibility, bottom bracket/crankset compatibility, interchangeability of components, etc.
Pricing Strategy: Research and analyze market comparisons, sales data, and various factors (year, model, condition, demand) to determine optimal pricing for each product.
Inventory Management: Ensure inventory is displayed accurately, and stock levels shown to the customers are always accurate.
- Mechanical Knowledge: Strong mechanical understanding of road cycling components, including compatibility and uses.
- Cycling Industry Experience: Previous experience in the cycling industry, working directly with road cycling components is ideal.
- Pricing Expertise: Ability to price products effectively based on market comparisons, sales database, and factors like year, model, condition, and demand.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all listings.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with high-end used cycling components, including brands and market trends.
- Condition Identification: Ability to assess product conditions from photos and describe them accurately in listings.
- E-commerce Experience: Previous experience in product listing or e-commerce is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strength in grammar, spelling, and punctuation is crucial.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with online platforms and e-commerce tools, such as Shopify and eBay
