We seek a knowledgeable and experienced HR Administrator to join our remote team in the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labour laws across multiple states in the US and be able to provide comprehensive HR support to our organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees on HR-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across multiple states.
- Manage the payroll cycles and onboarding process across different states
- Supports the Head of People in handling employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Experience communicating directly with Trade Unions
- Experience processing payroll
- Strong understanding of labour laws and compliance across multiple states in the US.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software such as Deel and Trinet
- Reporting skills
- SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in the Eastern Time zone and collaborate with a team based in the CET
