Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will play a vital role in the People Department, providing comprehensive support across various human resources functions. This position involves managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and contributing to the overall positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, creating and managing employee programs and policies, and HR data analytics.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
HR Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Employee Life Cycle Management:
Manage the employee life cycle from entry to exit, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
Compensation and Payroll:
Assist in the development and implementation of compensation strategies and structures.
Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee pay and deductions.
Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
Coordinate annual open enrollment processes and benefits communication.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
Participate in HR projects, such as HR system implementations, process improvements, and policy revisions.
Assist in the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives aligned with business goals.
Employee Communication:
Develop and disseminate HR communications, such as newsletters, policy updates, and company announcements.
Maintain an open line of communication between employees and management.
HR Data Analytics:
Maintain HR metrics and generate reports for management review.
Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Employee Feedback and Surveys:
Administer employee surveys and gather feedback to assess employee satisfaction and engagement.
Analyze survey results and recommend action plans to address areas of concern.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
High level of emotional intelligence and empathy.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
Adaptability and willingness to embrace change.
