E-commerce Manager

This role is with a digitally native, omnichannel baby and children's sleepwear brand established and headquartered in the UK. They exist to empower families to sleep better. Responsibilities:
Website Management:
Manage and maintain our client’s 3 stores, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Implement site enhancements and new features in collaboration with their technical team.
Stay aware of industry changes affecting the website, such as cookie policies, data processing, accessibility, and compliance.
Work closely with the SEO Manager to understand and optimise on-site SEO strategies.
Product Merchandising:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches, campaigns, and the promotional sales calendar.
Optimise product discoverability on the website, becoming an expert in the merchandising tool - Advanced Commerce.
Streamline product upload processes and support the Content Assistant.
Data & Reporting:
Be the expert in GA4, event tracking, and analyse complex journeys to optimise CVR across the sites.
Use heatmaps and tools such as Microsoft Clarity for analysing onsite behaviour and surveys.
E-Commerce Strategy & CRO:
Brief the creative team on UX design, always thinking mobile-first to develop a strong customer purchase journey.
Build business cases to support project prioritisation and quantify return on investment (data, metrics, KPIs).
Identify and implement A/B testing across the website to test new features and enhance learnings. Share results with the wider team and use the data to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
4+ years of E-commerce marketing experience within a D2C business.
Solid understanding of both Shopify Plus and GA4.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights using Excel pivots and BI tools.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present results confidently and craft compelling creative briefs for campaign launches.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple deadlines end-to-end.
Work with the Customer Service & Product teams to identify usability issues and develop solutions.
Impressive problem-solving skills, using data and intuition to identify problems, develop hypotheses, and propose solutions.
Ability to adapt to change quickly and react to trade performance to drive sales.
Team player who wants to grow within the organisation and encourages others to understand the website capabilities and their role within the customer journey.
